Notice that there has been a gap in the vertical Runs wherever they graphically intersect the
horizontal Runs.

Gapping style and the priority with respect to the horizontal and vertical Runs can be set as per
requirement.

Alternatively we can keep the Auto Gap option selected. This setting will place a Gap whenever
the lines intersect graphically.

Adding Descriptions to OPCs:


Select the OPC shown below.

Placing the partner OPC’s from the Plant Stockpile:


Open the Drawing Manager and create two new Drawings as shown.

Click on Create button and enter the Drawing number for the next drawing as shown.

Click OK to create.

Now the Drawings under Unit 010 will be listed like this.

Right Click on PR-PID-0016 and open the drawing.

Zoom in as shown below and note down the OPC numbers which are In –Coming and on the left
side of the drawing.

Close the Drawing.

Open the Drawing PR-PID-0015.

Select PR-PID-0015 and click OK to open.

Look in to the Engineering Data Editor.

Set the Item type as OPC.

Toggle-on the Other Drawing.

You will see all the OPC’s which have been placed on PR-PID-0016 drawing.

Notice that the Partner OPC drawing column is empty indicating that the Partner OPC’s are not
placed in any of the drawings and are in the Stockpile.

Now Toggle-off the other drawings and Toggle on the Stockpile with the item type set to OPC as
before.

You will get the list of OPCs which are residing in the stockpile.

Notice that, the Drawing Number column is empty indicating again that they are yet to be placed
in the drawing. But you can see the partner OPC drawing number.

Now pick the first OPC and place it in the drawing as shown.

Zoon in to the OPC.

OPC Tag will be same as its partner OPC. Also you will see the partner OPC’s drawing number
displayed on the OPC.

Open Continuation Drawing:

Right Click on OPC and select ‘Open Continuation Drawing’

This will open the drawing where in you will find the partner of this OPC.
