“Sound Off”
Directions: Get the learners ready. Show them the letter cards and review how
to produce the sounds of the letters A, E, K, C, L, T, M, and D.

“Sound it Off”
Directions: Direct the attention of the learners to the phoneme worksheet. Model how the
consonant digraphs ending sounds are sounded and when added with different consonants. Let
them read by group and individually.
“Q & A”
Directions: Call each learner and let each one tells what they did.
Ask: Anu-ano ang mga ginawa natin sa leksyong ito? Paano natin
pinatunog ang mga consonant digraphs na ake, ace, ail, ate, eal, aet,
eam, ook, and ock?
Say: Let’s see what is said on the box below: Let’s read aloud altogether.
Panuto: Ipabasa isa-isa at paulit-ulit ang mga salitang nasa ibaba hanggang masanay ang
bata sa pagbasa ng mga salitang ito. Lagyan ng tsek (/) ang puwang kung kaya na ng bata
ang basahin ang mga ito.
Panuto: (Sa nagtuturo sa mga bata sa pagbasa sa bahay) Ipabasa isa-isa at paulit-ulit ang
mga salitang nasa ibaba hanggang masanay ang bata sa pagbasa ng mga salitang ito.
Panuto: Hikayatin ding mapabasa ang bata sa mga sumusunod na mga payak na
pangungusap.
