you to find out?

Rosa: Based on the Picture, I think it is a
Map focusing on the Europe. Since we
are talking about..Literature so that is
a European Literature..
focused on European Literature II.
Host: Okay Good…Let’s look deeper, what is
in the European Literature II…So Ms.
Palconit, can you tell us about
European Literature?
Rosa: European Literature refers to the
Literature of Europe. It includes in
many languages, among the most
important of the modern written
works are those in English, Spanish,
French, Dutch Polish, German, Italian,
Modern Greek, Czech and Russian and
works by the Scandinavians and Irish.
Host: Since you’ve mention about German,
so let’s talk about German Literature…
Rosa: German Literature Comprises the

famous works.
Rosa: Alright, these are “The Loved
One Ever Near” and “Destiny”.

Yohann.. So what is the “Loved One
Ever Near” all about?
Rosa: In my own perspective, This poem is
associated for his love one, who is far
to him. It is like a long distance
relationship. But his love is related to
the nature, what he sees, he always
think of his love.
My favorite line there is “ I think of
thee, when the bright sunlight
shimmers” “Across the sea; when the
clear fountain in the moonbeam
glimmers, I think of thee.”
When you love that person, you
always think of him. You missed him
perhaps the poem reveals that even
though you have no communication
but still your heart always belong to
him/ her and that is love with
commitment.
