measure to prevent severe symptoms. But with the patients current condition
(unable to do ADL) a family member must know the preventive measures in taking
care of the patient. To maintain their normal range of blood sugar by monitoring it
time to time to help them and know what to do if an emergency happens. A dietary
or meal plan, when the provider recommends a sample meal plans carbohydrate
level, you may find having some sample plans for various carb level that will them in
planning provided by the patient’s physician.

Desirable It is important for the patient to know more about their conditions, the effects of
preventive measure to their condition. It is a desirable to update their knowledge by

awareness about DM type 2 pathogenesis, harmfulness, complications and
treatment, thereby increasing knowledge regarding the importance of control risk

exercise would be a great help to the patient, to help her body muscles stretch and
reminding them how to move with the help of the family member, this exercise
called passive range of motion exercises, if the family member do not know what to
do, there will be a video for them to watch which these techniques to create wider
awareness about the importance of exercising.
Possible The patient is diagnoses having DM type 2, the patients does not need to know
about self- care issues that arises to do daily activities because the patient cannot
move her own body, the family members help her to move whenever the patient is
going to eat or to do any activity, it does not relate to the patient’s everyday
activities.
