WEEK 11, HY 1

My name is Hao, and I grew up in Dali, a small town. It is a quiet and cute place
to live though it is not well-developed enough compared to capitals. However,
in Dali, we can still live in our way without noise, crowd, and much air pollution.

There are four people in my family including my father, my mother, my

younger brother and I.

I know that I need to do my best in order to achieve my goals and I am a

responsible person and I am ready to achieve my goals. Actually, my parents
taught me when I was a child that ‘not giving up in spite of difficulties is the key
of success.’ So I am a person of determination and always see the bright sides
of things in life.

 I am based in London, but I live in New York.

 I live in New York, but I am originally from Lisbon.

 I am the daughter of two psychologists.

 I study literature at Erciyes University in Kayseri, a neighbor city of the

capital, Ankara.

 For several months now, I have been working on a project.

 My passion for learning languages began 10 years ago when I visited
Japan.
 I’d like to become fluent in English so that I can attend a university in
Canada, this is one of my dreams.
 I have analytic approach towards things I do. I think that helps me to
understand a wide range of issues deeply.
 What I find extremely attractive being a city planner is that the
profession is so demanding, everything changes so quickly and every day
is a new sunrise. Such a dynamic environment is really very exciting,
maybe a little stressful, too. However, I can multitask easily.
 I am a self motivated and disciplined soul.
 Apart from studies, I enjoy participating in drama and dance classes.
