Libraries: jQuery , Bootstrap, React(Alternative), leaflet

Resource: Learning materials from ALX SE program and google.

Note: Here we will implement a back end service. Additionally the project will only use react which
combines HTML with javascript functionality and makes it easy to manage the flow of data
throughout the application.

4. Challenge statement
This portfolio project is already implemented in other developed countries in order to solve
transportation problems and also benefit car owners as a means of generating income while
delivering a car pooling service. This project is intended to solve transportation problems in Ethiopia
within a small radius from the capital city, Addis ababa.

From this project, car owners and communities who either don't have a car or don't want to drive are
going to be users who are interested in the service. This project will only be implemented in
Ethiopia's localities.

5. Risks
Comprehensively understanding and working on the aforementioned technologies will be a major
technical issue to finalize and the project objectives for this training. Thus, for this project we will
build only the front end part of the project and the whole project will be finalized after specialization
and thoroughly understand the needed technologies. Regarding the technical issues, available
resources from google will be used.

Regarding the non-technical risks and the potential impact will be lack of time and not covering the
whole learning materials in a due date. Additionally, personal commitment will also be another issue.
As much as possible, we will try to be disciplined and implement the project on a due date.

6. Infrastructure

Since the process of the project is going to be done by one person we may not need any branch-
merge strategy. But, for further deployment purposes and tracking the work progress I will have a
github repository and all the works be pushed to that repository.

For our static web deployment we will use the amazon one year free AWS S3 deployment service.

7. Existing solutions

Differences between the two: Blabla car website is more user friendly while getaround website is
more responsive.
