Statement of the Problem

This study aims to determine the inventory management practices of

the selected convenience stores in Pasig City.

Specifically, it seeks to answer the following questions:

1. What is the profile of the selected retail stores in terms of:

1.1 Years of operation;

1.2 Number of employees; and

1.3 Capital?

2. How does inventory management practices contribute in having

effective inventory management in terms of:

2.1 Productivity;

2.2 Performance; and

2.3 Efficiency?

3. Is there a significant difference between inventory management

practices of selected convenience stores when grouped according

to profile?

4. What challenges are encountered by the selected convenience

Hypothesis

Based on the main problem of the study, the researchers will test the

hypothesis using 0.05 level of significance.

HO1: There is significant difference between inventory management

practices of selected convenience stores when grouped according to profile.
