QUARTER 3 WEEK 6

Counting and Adding sets up to quantities of 10

SCHOOL: CONSOLACION GRADE LEVEL: KINDERGARTEN

MODALITY: Face-to-face OBSERVATION NUMBER: 2

I. OBJECTIVES
A. Content The child demonstrates an understanding
Standard of the sense of quantity and numeral
relations, and that additional increases.

B. Performance The child shall be able to actively engage

Standard in counting the number of objects in each
set and shall be able to perform simple
addition.
C. Learning 1.. Count objects with one-to-one
Competencies correspondence up to quantities of
10.MKC-00-7
2. Add objects in each set up to 10
objects or pictures/ drawings.
D. Integration Language, Science, ESP

Based teaching practice

Conclusion: The teachers must first
improve their number sense and related
knowledge of number sense. A teacher
with number sense and related knowledge
of number sense can stimulate and guide
the students to increase their number
sense. Therefore, the educational
administration should hold related
studies for the basic teachers, enhance
their understanding of number sense so
that number sense can be efficiently
integrated into mathematics teaching for
proceeding with meaningful mathematics
teaching, and develop the student’s
mathematical capacities.

F. Strategy used Conceptual understanding It's important,

although not always simple, to assist your
pupils in understanding the lesson's
central idea. Even your top pupils could
just be solving issues in a predictable way
without understanding the "why."

You may improve conceptual knowledge

by using visual aids and math
manipulatives. Mathematics is a multi-
dimensional discipline. The feeling of
holding a cone is incomparable to even
the greatest illustration of one. Discover
methods to enable your kids to consider
math from all angles.

There is no requirement for expensive

math manipulatives. Simple wooden
blocks, magnets, modeling clay, and other
playthings may help educators develop
excellent hands-on lessons. There is no
need to spend money on costly or
specialized materials.
