A Vindication of the Rights of Woman has many ways to fight injustice. One way

Wollstonecraft fights injustice in her paragraph was to provide women with equal education and

opportunities as she argues how women are equal to men in intellect. Wollstonecraft suggests

that education is crucial in empowering women and letting them contribute to society because

women are being taught the wrong things about how they should be less than men. “The

education of women has, of late, been more attended to than formerly; yet they are still reckoned

a frivolous sex, and ridiculed or pitied by the writer who endeavor by satire or instruction to

improve them.” Wollstonecraft line 63). Another way Wollstonecraft fights injustice is by also

going after gender stereotypes and prejudices that contribute to discrimination against women.

She argues that women should have their mind and body strengthened in order to not be

dependent on their husbands. “Besides,the woman who strengthens her body and exercises her

mind will, by managing her family and practicing various virtues, become the friend, and not the

humble dependent of her husband.” (Wollstonecraft line 146).
