• Corresponding to Europe’s main sea basins and the Islands


• Assuring the specific interests and promotion of the 150 CPMR
member regions
• Allowing to focus on the major common challenges in each
territory
• A stronger joint voice, creating synergies & reducing overlaps
• Actively contributing to the work of the CPMR and its core policy
positions
The CPMR is:
• More than the voice of peripheral and maritime regions in Europe
• The most influential regional organisation in Brussels
• A General Secretariat well connected to decision-making
• A highly competent team with direct access to European officials
• A source of expertise and information for the European institutions
• A strong impact on policy via excellent papers and analysis
• Strong knowledge building through an extensive network
The CPMR is:
• A two-way exchange channel with the European Institutions
• A network to meet, learn, exchange & cooperate with reliable
partners
• High-level working groups providing valuable information to
members
• Expert analysis and studies on various priority issues
• A quick reacting secretariat

focuses on the fields of Sustainable Tourism, Cultural & Creative
Industries, and Circular Economy. Youth as strategic target group for
the sustainable development of the EUSAIR area.
