Final Examination

Write a JOB APPLICATION LETTER considering the following guidelines:

1) Letter Style: Full Blocked


Font Size: 12
Font Style: Times New Roman
Margin: Normal (Top, Bottom, Left, and Right: 2.54 cm)
Page size: Long bond paper
2) Use a Heading but separate the dateline.
3) On the inside address my name should be written, and it is up to you what position,
company, and address you will put for as long as it is anchored on the position you are
applying for. The name on the inside address must be bold and caps lock.

Example:
Ms. JAYCEL JOY P. ZARA
Manager, J&T Office Publication Hub
Makati, City

4) In the salutation use “Madam:”

5) The Body of the letter must be double-spaced. How?

a) Highlight the body of the letter.


b) Right-click, select paragraph, and under line spacing select double.
The content must be direct to the point. Indicate the position you are applying for but
bear in mind that it must be a job position related to a Bachelor of Science in
Entrepreneurship ex. Sales Representative, Business Development Officer; Social Media
Manager; Public Relation Manager; Appraiser etc.

The body of your job application letter should explain why you are interested in the
position, highlight your relevant qualifications, and experience, and demonstrate how

your skills match the requirements of the job. Here are some steps you can follow to write
an effective body for your job application letter:

Explain why you are interested in the position: Begin the body of your letter by explaining
why you are interested in the position. Use this opportunity to demonstrate your
knowledge of the company and the job requirements. For example, you could say "I am
excited about the opportunity to work for a company that values innovation and
creativity."

Highlight your relevant qualifications and experience: In the next paragraph, highlight
your relevant qualifications and experience. Use specific examples to demonstrate your
skills and achievements. For example, if the job requires excellent communication skills,
you could say "As a former communications intern, I honed my skills in writing press
releases, creating social media content, and pitching to media outlets."

Demonstrate how your skills match the requirements of the job: In the following
paragraph, demonstrate how your skills match the requirements of the job. Use the job
description as a guide to highlight specific skills and experience that the employer is
looking for. For example, if the job requires experience with project management
software, you could say "My experience using project management software, such as
Trello and Asana, would enable me to hit the ground running and manage projects
effectively."

Express enthusiasm for the position: In the final paragraph of the body of your letter,
express your enthusiasm for the position and the company. Let the employer know why
you believe you would be a good fit for the team. For example, you could say "I am excited
about the opportunity to work with a team of talented professionals and contribute to
the success of the company."

Remember to keep your body concise and focused on the job you are applying for. Use
specific examples to demonstrate your skills and achievements, and tailor your letter to
the specific requirements of the job.

6) The signature block must be in all capital letters, bold, and sign it before you submit.
