Title: Identifying a suitable project
Introduction
Our Enterprise group started doing a project on problems that can be solved by opening a
business. The purpose of this report is to have a brief evaluation of my three business ideas and
explain the reasons why I decided to choose this idea. Our idea is simple, we believe that we can
“sell” joy to people so that we can spread happiness and contribute to society indirectly.
Nowadays, people are so busy with their daily activities that they lost their joy and forget the fun
things around them. We have three solutions for this issue, mystery boxes, luck-based games,
and old books.
Option 1: Mystery box
A mystery box is a box containing unknown items such as toys, decorations, or snacks,...
Depending on the brands, the quantity might be different and items inside could belong to
different categories. We believe that buying mystery boxes is a way for people to entertain
themselves and is suitable for those who like surprises, especially in the tiring and boring life
nowadays.

In the first question, the most common age group that participated in the survey was the 15-17
years old group, who contributed almost 76% of the answers, which means our target market will
be teenagers.

candidates find it comfortable to pay more than 90k VND. The cost for a 5-item mystery box is
more than 90k VND.
Evaluation: From both results and comments, firstly, our target market is teenagers who are
from 15-17 years old, and they are attracted by this project. The products inside boxes are
snacks, stickers, and school supplies. The price of mystery boxes with 2,3,4,5 items is 30k-40k
VND, 61k-70k VND, 81k-90k VND, and over 90k VND, respectively.
Option 2: Luck-based game
Luck based game is a familiar game nowadays, it is a game that players pay money to try their
luck. We often see this game in malls, school events, and fairs. Similar to mystery boxes, we
hope luck-based games help people entertain themselves by testing their luck.

More than half of the responders would love to pay from 11k to 15k VND. Combined with the
entrance fee, the total price for playing the luck-based game is 15k-25k VND.
Evaluation: From all results above, our group concluded that we would focus on teenagers, the
luck-based game we would organize was rolling a lucky wheel, and we would provide
decorations, key chains, and school supplies as prizes for attendants when they won the game.
Combined with the entrance and playing fees, the price of playing this game was from 15k-25k
VND.

Option 3: Old books

Reading books is an effective way to relieve stress, and avoid boredom. The old book is a
familiar definition to everybody, it is a second-hand book that can be bought at a more
reasonable price. We can see the potential of old books since people can’t afford new ones, they
will look for those.

books containing 200-300 pages. The most wanted books are 200-300-page ones. From the
result, books from 200-300 pages will profit us the most.
Our final choice
After a long time of considering and discussing, our group decided to choose the mystery box
idea to do business
Explanation

Firstly, based on the two videos about opening the mystery boxes, we can see that they both have
a huge amount of viewers, 2.4 million and 3.5 million viewers, respectively, which is persuasive
evidence to show that mystery box is the trend. For the luck-based game, however, because there
is money as a reward, we are afraid that the school will consider this as gambling, which is
forbidden according to school law. Finally, regarding the old books, we did not ask the
respondents specifically what author they like, the author whether Vietnamese or foreign so we
could not sure what book to buy.
