The principles of professional conduct of Medical Imaging Professionals in in the Sultanate of


Oman consists of five main codes from which sub-rules emerge. It was also inferred by reference
to the international associations of medical imaging technologists, including the Society of
Radiographers (UK) (SOR), the International Society of Radiographers and Radiological
Technologists (ISRRT), the American Society for Radiologic Technologist (ASRT) and the
Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT), taking into account the
nature of the culture and traditions in the Sultanate of Oman. Medical Imaging Professionals are
