There is a lot of sports in Canada. The most played
sports are, lacrosse, football, ice hockey, soccer, basketball, baseball and curling. Lacrosse is Canada's oldest and official summer sport and a sport with home origins while ice hockey (hockey) is most interesting Canada sport. Canadian football is 2nd most playable sport in Canada. Every year there is Grey cup, one of the biggest events in country. Canada has great success at the Winter Olympics. Great achievements in Canadian sports are remembered in Canada's Sports Hall of Fame. Also, every year, Lou Marsh trophy is awarding to top athlete by side of the journalist. Hockey and Lacrosse These 2 games are most interesting sports in Canada because they are not playing that much in other countries. Ice hockey is a contact team sport played on ice, where two teams of skaters use their sticks to shoot a vulcanized rubber puck into their opponent's net to score points. The sport is known to be fast-paced and physical, team is usually consisting of six players each: one goalkeeper, and five players who skate up and down trying to score or defend goal. Lacrosse is a team sport played with a lacrosse stick and a lacrosse ball. Players use the head of the lacrosse stick to carry, pass, catch, and shoot the ball into the goal. The sport has four versions that have different sticks, fields, rules and equipment: field lacrosse, women's lacrosse, box lacrosse and intercrosse.
