POINT OF VIEW AND SETTINGS

I. Comprehension. Read and analyze the following questions. Think critically

and creatively as you provide precise and concise responses. (10 points
each)
1. In the nonfiction story you want to write, what kind of narrator do you want readers to perceive
you to be? What new strategies have you learned that would let you shape that character’s voices?
- If I became an author I wanted my readers to perceived me as mysterious, considering my traits
and behavior and what I used to hear from the people about me I do wanted them to see me as
mischievous author. From what I've learned and understood using third person type of new will
help me shape the voice of characters it is stated in the module that the information and
perspective you give in third person view is limited which is essential in giving some hints which
make my character a puzzle and Mysterious.

2. The second-person point of view is rarely used. What particular circumstances can you imagine in
which it would be ideal? Why?
- The second person point of view is rarely and it is fact but it also has an great impact in writing
specific type of genre of a story it is more likely a genre of writing to make you reflect about yourself
In the story, a stories for example like the used of I we, you, he she, they etc.

3. In the nonfiction story you wish writing, who will the implied author be? What role will that
character play in your story?
- Me as an author I would like to implied to my readers to react with "Shadow” guessing who is he
and what does his role in the story which will gonna affect the story. “Shadow” is an protagonist with
mysterious vibes and acts unbiased and look like an antagonist at same time giving the readers a hard
time to complete the puzzle of my character traits.

4. What would a story without any implied author at all look like? What would you have to do to
write one? Could you still have a story?
- Without an implied author the story will not gonna perceived accurately as the author wants it to
be simply, because we knew that implied author is method used and help to anticipate what the story
will affect the reader.

5. Do you think your favorite films or television shows use the different point of view, or are the
point of view of films and books fundamentally different in their strategies?
- I really think that televisions show and literature both gives emphasize the point of view used in
the story it’s just that they differ in method. The movie/television relies more on the use of visuals,
sound effects and also choice of words while the literature or traditional method only relies in the
choice of word so if you notice it movies and literature is same in terms of point of views but it’s
just movies were improved version of delivering it.
II. TRAVELER’S JOURNAL: Take a day to travel your hometown as a tourist (make sure to follow proper
protocol and avoid doing things which are against the IATF guidelines). Pretend you’ve never seen this
place before and wander with all your senses heightened. Explore and write down your impressions.
How can you make the familiar new again? Make an itinerary of your exploration and introduce to your
readers or audience the variety of wanders that can be found in your town. Bon Voyage!
