Activity 6
Construct an assessment tool for each of the following topics. (40 points)

a. Construct a semantic differential scale that can be used to identify students’ rating
on a 5-minute tutorial video they watched.
b. Construct a Thurstone scale to be used to assess students’ attitude towards a
subject (your field of specialization).
c. Construct a Likert scale that can be used to assess people’s perception regarding a
healthy lifestyle.
d. Construct a checklist to assess the behaviors of students during teaching
demonstration.

Criteria for Evaluation

 Completeness - All required content is complete. Each scale should have at least 5
items.
 Validity - The scale is aligned with what is supposed to measure.
 Clarity - The instruction should be detailed and easy to follow. The layout must be
organized.
 Simplicity - Statements should use simple words and be easy to understand.
 Reference - If the rating scale is adopted, make sure to revise it and copy the link of
the reference.
