Notice of Seminar and Viva Voce for

B.Com VI Semester

 As per the syllabus of B.Com. CBCS Sixth Semester, there is a Paper Code BC-604,
which carries Seminar & Comprehensive Viva-Voce as one of the four papers. Schedule
of VIVA VOCE is given below .
 There is a provision of 30 marks seminar in which students are likely to give a
presentation.In place of seminar, it is decided that, students can prepare a Research
Article on any one of the topics given below. They are requested to bring the file
carrying hand written research article on the same day, when they will come to give
viva voce exam in the department:

1. Start up India movement


2. Ayushman Bharat scheme of Government of India, its problems and future
prospects.
3. Impact of Covid-19 on the economy of Uttarakhand, Ways to revive.
4. Role of Covid-19 on the reverse migration of workers in India from
urban to rural areas, consequences and suggestions.

5. Problems and suggestions for revival of tourism industry in Uttarakhand


in the present circumstances.
6. Make In India Movement, Problems and future prospects
 The students are advised to apply their own intellectual ability in preparing the article
on any one of the above topics.
 The article must be handwritten on the pages of register or A4 sheets.
 The article must carry a range of 10 to 12 handwritten pages.
 Following is the chapterisation to be followed while preparing the research article:
1. Introduction
2. Review of literature
3. Objectives (There must be 2-3 objectives in statement form)
4. Analysis of the problems and their explanation considering the objectives of the
study.
5. Conclusion and suggestions
6. Bibliography
 The students may prepare their research article according to their medium of instruction.
Hindi medium students can prepare in Hindi and English medium students can prepare
in English.

 The cover page of the article must carry the following informations:
1. Name of Topic
2. Name of the student
3. Father’s name of the student

4. I-card No.
5. Class
6. Semester
7. Roll No.
8. Enrolment No.
9. Mobile No.
 Students should not copy the matter directly from internet or from other students. They
must try to understand the concept and problem of the topic. Writing in own words is
highly recommended as plagiarised article will not be accepted.
 Maximum Marks allotted for Research article is 30. For remaining 70 marks a separate
VIVA-VOCE exam will be conducted. For giving viva voce students has to come
personally in the Department of Commerce as per schedule given below .
 The file of Research article will be submitted on the same day in the department, when
viva voce will be held.

This is to inform to all the students of B com 6th semester that a
Comprehensive Viva Voce (Oral Communication) Examination of 70
marks of Paper Code BC 604 will be held in the Department of
Commerce, DAV PG College Dehradun as per the schedule given
below . For appearing in Viva Voce, it is compulsory to bring I
Card, Admit Card of the sixth semester (Roll No) and original
Marksheets of Past semesters available till date.. Questions will be
asked relating to general awareness in the field of Commerce,
Economics, and Accounts. More emphasis will be laid down on the
papers opted in sixth semester. Covid Protocol is required to be
followed.
