Project Report guidelines for the students for Summer 2020

Preface :
At the outset, let us understand that the objectives of Summer Internship Projects for
MBA are as under :
Objectives:
1. To expose students to the working of any organization and managers.
2. To provide the students practical experience of Research work and reporting
3. To relate the concepts learnt by the students to the working of the organization.
4. To work on a problem identified by the organization / student and thus
understand the practical aspects of the working of an organization.

For this, students are expected to be working in a professional orgaisation for 30 days
as intern and understand the working of all the departments of the organisation from
managerial functions perspective such as planning, organising, coordinating,
directing,etc.

However, due to Covid 19 pandemic situation arised, this year, students are expected to
undertake the internship project without undergoing the risk of the pandemic. i.e.
avoiding going to organisation, to crowded places, meeting lots of people, etc.
Therefore, it is suggested that students should undertake organisation projects which
are allowed to be completed following ‘Work From Home’ concept’ only. However, if
organisations do not agree to this, then students can decide a project of their own to be
completed as ‘Self Projects’ instead for any organisation. This relaxation is allowed only
for this year due to the pandemic situation.

Therefore the objectives of the Summer Internship Project this year would be:
1. To provide the students an opportunity to apply the concepts of research
methodologies studied during the course
2. To provide students practical exposure and experience of Research work and
reporting
3. To provide students opportunity to correlate the functional concepts learnt to the
working of the organization.
