based on the information provided.
a. Vertex (-2, 3) and stretch/compression factor of 0.5.
b. Vertex (1, 5) passing through (4, 41)

3. The suspension cable of a bridge forms a parabolic curve defined by

y = 0.016(x – 22)2 – 8.
a. What is the vertex ( or coordinates of the lowest point ) of the
cable?
b. What is the stretch/compression factor?
c. Sketch the relation using pencil and graph paper. Scan and save
the images of your graph.
