PROCESS OF REVIEW OF RELATED LITERATURE

6. Evaluate your work

- Let us now proceed to the last part or step on the process of review of related
literature, which is the, Evaluate your work.

You must evaluate the paper, speech, or whatever you are using to communicate
your research. And to evaluate your work, you should ask yourself, is it effective?
Does it meet the requirements, terms and corncerns? Or ask your teacher to provide
constructive critism of your paper.

There are 5 important criteria to evaluate your work:

1. Currency- It is when the source was published (so, dapat alam natin kung kelan
dapat alam din natin kung yung information ba is current/napapanahon or is it out-
dated/napaglipasan na ng panahon)

2. Relevance- How closely the source relates to your topic and research question
ginagamit or gagamitin natin sa napili nating research topic at research question)

3. Authority- They are the one who wrote the sources (sa pag-eevaluate ng work,
You
should ask yourself, does the author have the qualifications to speak/write on that
topic?

4. Accuracy- You should know whether the informations that you are using are
accurate or not.
Or Is the information reliable?)

5. Objectivity- You should know whether the source has an agenda or a biased point
of view.

However, this final step is a last verification to make sure your work is complete and
if it has a high or low quality.
