Fly High Reading Program

May Month Activity: Poetry in Motion

Dear Students / parents,

We are thrilled to announce our upcoming Fly High reading program for the month of May -
Poetry in Motion, where you will have the chance to showcase your favourite poem with
intonation and expression.

We want all students from grades 3 to 9 to take part in this exciting opportunity to demonstrate
your talents. Throughout the program, we will record your performances, and one winner will
be chosen per grade.

The selected winners will receive certificate of Merit and their performances will be featured on
our school's Fly High Reading Board and Social media pages.

Program: Poetry in Motion


Date: 8th to 12th of May 2023

Please note that each student can only perform one poem (It could be a poem from a different
author or independently written one). Remember your poem should not exceed more than 3
minutes. You will judged on the below criteria attached herewith. This poetry in Motion will be
conducted by the English teacher during the English class which will be directed by the
teacher.

If you are interested, kindly register your name on or before 3rd May 2023 in the below link. We
urge you all to participate and share your amazing performances with us. We can't wait to see
what you can do!
