Summary: Story of Moses
Moses was known as the servant of the Lord who is the messenger for the people’s jurisdiction. He is considered one of the most important prophets throughout the religion with the presence of his sacred name in ancient history until nowadays. The story of Moses was all written in Torah and was placed between Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, and Deuteronomy. Thus, this happened in the Egyptian region. Since the Torah is made of background events of Moses and the people that consist of different components could be the reason how essential the religion Christianity, Islam, and Judaism empowered us being incitement and momentous messages. At the beginning of the story selection, a mother and family decided to put a baby boy in a basket and let it flow down into the river then instructed the older sibling to follow the child. Afterward, the pharaoh’s daughter noticed that there was a basket floating in the water and they took it immediately. A baby was discovered and suddenly adopted as her child named Moses. As time passes by, Moses develop at the hand of Pharaoh as the prince of Egypt. Moses suddenly killed the Egyptians and quickly escape the place for not punishable by the law. Moses speaks the Pharaoh to set the Israelites free from over a year in slavery but he refused the request. A few days preceding, Moses placed the rod in the Nile river and turns the water into red-like blood. All foods and resources in water might die and unusable. Subsequently, an emerged of frogs in Egypt and try to invade the places, especially Pharaoh’s palace. Moses back again to Pharaoh and ask again for permission to be set free from the Egyptians’ hand but he declines anew. People have experienced infestations with thousands of insects sticking to their bodies and all around the entire place. The dead livestock eventually happened and people experience diseases. Furthermore, an extremely strong storm was devastating the human lives of those who did not follow Moses. A cloud form of the locus was suddenly attacking the people they passed. Moreover, the sky forms a black mist and people suffer 3 days of darkness in their place. The night that Moses was punished severely in Egyptian and killed those firstborn sons then suddenly the pharaoh’s son was a victim. The Israelites sacrifice the lamb and smear the blood on every door. Afterward, Moses and the Israelites travel from the middle of the desert until they see the river. Moses encounters a burning bush that God has a mission on him. However, the Egyptians followed them instantly but Moses create a fire barrier to not get close to the Israelites. Moses create massive power to divide the sea into two and the Israelites packed quickly to leave the place. Unlucky the Egyptian army was dead after being drowned by the sea. A few days later, Israelites suffer from being thirsty and hungry due to a lack of water and food supplies. A miraculous food falls from heaven and using the rod of Moses to produce water was a blessing to them. Afterward, they saw Mount Sinai, and Moses was only allowed to climb the mountain to communicate with God. At the end of the story, Moses takes the Ten Commandments written in the tone and he goes back to the Israelites to show the covenant words. Moses goes back again to the top of Mount Sinai with his adherent Aaron. The Israelites thought that they would never come back and eventually, the people create their god to celebrate. When Moses came back, he wondered about the people and was blasphemous to himself. Most of the people were killed by those who no longer followed Moses. Finally, they continue to travel through the promised land which is their destination, Canaan. In my opinion, it deserves the consequences of their lives for those people who did not follow the suitable way in which they experience the abundance of freedom. Love, Hope, and Faith are the most requested to strongly believe in God and would not fade only keep its heart and mind forever. Being supportive and embracing the value of how important is the religious word can make our lives empower and build dignity in ourselves. It is such an honor for us, humans, to have still a religion and the humans in ancient history shall sacrifice their lives remaining that the message of God is very important. From past to new generations, the strong beliefs of people made in history make seriousness that message of God would be truly unbelievable. It is so epic about the entire story of the life of Moses’s sacrifices for the sake of people against slavery. Unfortunately, the Israelites would suffer from the Egyptians. Should take both advantage and disadvantage in the situational between the formerly dominant. It became separated in the other side might experience freedom while the opponent is expiated. Saving people’s lives and escaping them from danger as Moses did can make being inspired us. Therefore, learn to trust what is right and the right must be trusted to be learned. It could be the decision, beliefs, perspectives, and confidence for you to believe what is true on the outcome of your faith. The Ten Commandments guide us in our responsibilities to be righteous as human beings. It gives importance to our lives to avoid sinfully. It became a vital support to make us better well-being.
