6 Different Types of Plagiarism

1. Direct plagiarism
This is plagiarism when we like someone else's work and then make it our own. For example,
when we copy and paste articles that we find on the internet for assignments. And it doesn’t
matter when we are putting the credit or the writer but we don’t put our ideas at all in our
work, its still call plagiarism.

2. Find & Replace plagiarism

Similar to direct plagiarism, this is plagiarism in which we take the work of others that we
like but change a few words and then make it our own. Its not a good or correct pharapase.

3. Patchwork plagiarism
it is plagiarism when we combine various sources of articles and pull some or all of the
material. it's still wrong because it doesn't use the right phrases or new words.

4. Accidental plagiarism
when we use the correct phrase, but we don't give credit or reference list. this is wrong,
because we do not provide the source of our phrase idea.

5. Self plagiarism
This is plagiarism when we use our own work or assignments from other lessons, then reuse
them for other lesson assignments. because it's not necessarily appropriate

6. Total plagiarism
this is the most severe plagiarism when we order / pay other people to do our work. this is
considered wrong because this task is not based on our ideas and we are not doing it
ourselves.

On yesterday's assignment I felt I had doing plagiarism, namely find & replace plagiarism
that I plagiarized other people's words and replaced them a little using my own words, and
then also doing patchwork plagiarism where I combined various sources and pulled a little
material into my work.
