HOT CAKES

Ingredients:
1 cup all-purpose flour
3 teaspoons baking powder (or a sachet of Royal)
1/4 teaspoon salt
3/4 cup skimmed milk
3 tablespoons butter, melted
2 eggs
1 tablespoon white sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 large banana, cut into small slices
1/2 cup miniature semisweet chocolate chips
1/4 cup chopped pecans or walnuts

supplies:

1 spoon 1 Measuring cup 1 bowl

1 Whisk 1 plate 1 kitchen spatula

Instructions:

Step 1. Mix the flour, baking powder and salt.

Step 2. In a separate bowl, mix skim milk, melted butter,


eggs, sugar, and vanilla. Make a well in the center of the
dry ingredients and gently add the wet ingredients.

Step 3. Cut the banana, and add the chocolate chips, the
nuts and then shake all the ingredients.

Step 4. Pour ¼ cup into a large greased skillet over


medium heat.

Step 5. Cook until bubbles appear on the surface, flip and


cook until brown on the other side.

Step 6. Serve on the plate, eat it and enjoy it.
