PURPOSE & MOTIVATION:

This article caught my attention because it explores how architects and designers are
rethinking the traditional living room to meet the needs and preferences of modern
homeowners. The article offers valuable insights into how living spaces are evolving to
reflect changing lifestyles and social dynamics. The purpose of this analysis is to provide a
deeper understanding of the article's content and its relevance to the field of interior
architecture.

PROBLEM:
The article addresses the question of whether living rooms are still relevant in contemporary
architecture. The traditional living room, with its formal furnishings and designated purpose
for entertaining guests, may no longer fit the needs and preferences of many modern
homeowners. The article looks at how architects and designers are adapting living spaces to
