-It talks about how the San Miguel Company to know their responsibilities and give help to
their beloved customers in any situations. According to the company's website, "As a
company, we have the power to solve problems, and we have never taken the position that
addressing economic, environmental, and social issues that affect the lives of Filipinos is a job
better left to others." SMC was founded in the Philippines in 1890 as a single product
brewery. Today, SMC has highly integrated operations with ownership in market leading
businesses and investments in various sectors such as beverages, food, packaging, energy, fuel
and oil, infrastructure, property development and leasing, cement, car. Banking and
distribution services SMC has a portfolio of companies that are interwoven into the Philippine
economic fabric, benefiting from and contributing to the country's development and economic
progress. According to the website, the San Miguel company is doing a fantastic job of
assisting people, particularly women who have been victims of violence. San Miguel is more
than just their products; they also have a department for people who are experiencing
violence. The center also provides services to support victims of abuse and those affected by
the pandemic in poor communities. They also have a separate center for women and children,
such as a learning and feeding facility. To maintain operations and the availability of essential
goods and services, the corporation strictly monitors the safety of all customers and
employees. The company makes an effort and is determined to use its company platform for
positive change and progress for the Filipino. They donate houses to disaster victims. Their
goal is to help the country, and they also celebrate some important events in our country. In
short, this corporation tells us that we are free to help other people voluntarily, and this
corporation tells us that we need unity in our department in an organization.

2.Describe the corporate structure of the company based on the information available on
the website.
what can you say about it.
- This is the Corporate Structure of the San Miguel Company as you can see it indicates the
shares of different owners and investors. San Miguel Corporation's corporate structure is all
about assisting them in providing good and quality services. San Miguel is unique in my
opinion because they help their employees, customers, and even other poor families. They
protect their customers' safety, and it's not just about business; it's about how they can help
others without expecting anything in return, and how their department works together with
their stakeholders, the government, and their employees.

Why is it important to know about informal organization?
- The primary function of informal organizations is basically to maintain cultural values of people. When
people can associate themselves with each other socially, they always feel a sense of togetherness.
Consequently, another function of informal organizations is to provide social satisfaction to members.

Give specific examples of formal organization and informal organizations
A formal organization is a type of group that is deliberately constructed and whose
members are organized to achieve a specific goal. Churches, schools, hospitals, and
companies are just a few examples. Modern formal organizations allow us to accomplish tasks
in the most efficient way possible. Informal organization is a set of social relationships,
communities, networks, etc. The employees remain motivated as there is a positive work
environment, and the employees are provided with incentives/ promotions, etc. One of the major
examples of an informal organization is the clubs or social networks.
