CERTAIN PARTS OF NINETEENTH AVENUE SOUTH, GULF STREET, AND TWENTIETH

AVENUE SOUTH ACCORDING TO THE ORIGINAL PLAT OF THE TOWN OF NAPLES, AS


THE SAME APPEARS OF RECORD IN PLAT BOOK 1, AT PAGE 8, PUBLIC RECORDS
OF COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA, AND ABANDONING AND DISCONTINUING CERTAIN
ALLEYS IN BLOCK ZERO, TIER 1, AND BLOCK ZERO, TIER 2, ACCORDING TO THE
ORIGINAL PLAT OF THE TOWN OF NAPLES, AS THE SAME APPEARS OF RECORD IN
PLAT BOOK 1, AT PAGE 8, PUBLIC RECORDS OF COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA, AND
AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE EXECUTION OF A QUIT CLAIM DEED TO THE
PROPERTY SO ABANDONED TO THE ABUTTINu OWNER THEREOF".

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF NAPLES, FLORIDA:

SECTION 1. That all that part of Nineteenth Avenue South,


according to the original plat of the Town of Naples, as the same
appears of record in plat book 1, at page 8, public records of Collier
County, Florida, described as follows, to wit:
Beginning at a point 10 feet west and 40 feet south of the original
southeast corner of block 1, tier 2, according to the original plat
of the Town of Naples, as the same appears of record in plat book 1,
at page 8, public records of Collier County, Florida, thence west
parallel to and 40 feet south of the north line of nineteenth avenue
south 830 feet to the waters of the Gulf of Mexico, to a point west of
and 20 feet south of the point of beginning, thence east parallel to
and 60 feet south of the north line of Nineteenth Avenue South 830
feet to a point south of the point of beginning, thence north 20 feet
to the point of beginning;
be and the same is hereby abandoned and discontinued.
SECTION 2. That all that part of Gulf Street and Twentieth
Avenue South, according to the original plat of the Town of Naples,
as the same appears of record in plat book 1, at page 8, public records
of Collier County, Florida, described as follows, to wit:
Beginning at the original northwest corner of block Zero, T ier 1,
according to the original plat of the Town of Naples, as the same appears
of record in plat book 1, at page 8, public records of Collier County
Florida, thence north 20 feet, thence west to the waters of the Gulf
of Mexico, thence Southerly along the waters of the Gulf of Mexico to
the section line, thence east along the section line to First Street,
thence North along the Westerly line of First Street to the original
southeast corner of said Block Zero, Tier 1, thence westerly along the
southerly line of said block Zero, Tier 1, thence North along the West
line of said Block Zero, T ier 1, to the point of beginning;
be and the same is hereby abandoned and discontinued.
SECTION 3. That all alleys, being three in number, in block
Zero, Tier 1, and Block Zero, Tier 2, according to the original plat
of the Town of Naples, as the same appears of record in plat book 1,
at page 8, public records of Collier C ounty, Florida, be and the same
are hereby abandoned and discontinued.
SECTION 4. That the Town of Naples, hereby ordains and determines
that all parts of the S treets aforesaid, and the alleys aforesaid are
unnecessary for the public use, are the Town of Naples, hereby lbandons
and discontinues said parts of said streets and said alleys, relinquishing
the rights of the public in andto the same and surrendering the land
discharged of and from any public easement whiCh may exist thereon.
SECTION 5. That Naples Improvement Corporation, a Corporation,
Is the owner of the property abutting the parts of the streets aforesaid
and the alleys aforesaid, and the Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized
and directed to execute to said Naples I mprovement Corporation, a quit
claim deed for said parts of said alleys and streets so abandoned as
aforesaid.
Si:CTIOld 6. That this ordinance shall take effect
immedtately on its passage.
