Scenario:

The Information Technology department at Wellington-Dufferin-Guelph Public Health is in the process


of deploying the Microsoft Office 365 Enterprise suite. Office 365 E3 licenses have been procured and
assigned to all members of staff.

Phase 1 - Status:

1. Office 365 client installations – Completed


2. Migration of end users’ mailboxes to the Office 365 platform - Completed
3. Personal data migration to each user’s Office 365 designated OneDrive - Completed

It’s now time for Phase 2, where a plan needs to be developed to migrate the organization’s on-premise
Microsoft SharePoint site to SharePoint Online. This phase also encompasses the deployment of
Microsoft Teams. The following infographic depicts what applications are automatically generated when
a Microsoft Team is created.

Please develop an implementation plan involving the Microsoft SharePoint migration and the
deployment of Microsoft Teams. Ease of navigation, content search, and collaboration should be top of
mind when designing your plan. State any assumptions made.
