Day every 25th of July held in San Ramon Elementary School

Ms. Miralou Garcia the district coordinator in journalism from English and Ms. Celia Sanggalang
the district coordinator in journalism from Filipino as the guest speaker.

Journalists from other schools are there to ask questions about the approval of Bill and to
discuss more about the status of Campus Journalism in Division of Bataan

Garcia

Garcia talked about the approval of the third and final reading of National Campus Press
Freedom Day cited as Senate Bill 747 for the youth

Senate Bill 747 is all about enhancing the training of the youth about their rights in Press
Freedom.

National Freedom Day cited as Senate Bill 756 on November 16 of every year. The Senate
declared it as National Student Leaders’ Day. The purpose of It is to ignite the worked of
student leaders and to promote their vital role in journalism.

Senator Chiz Escudero said that they will support the student leaders to become innovative like
what the young journalist is doing like exposing their talents. Journalists can get a support from
our government.

Rivero from the interviewers asked what is the ratio of the Senators in approving of this bill?
“Majority of the Senate Leaders’ was only mentioned in approving the bill” answered by the
panel
Press Freedom Bill is all about focusing in the freedom of youth to express themselves. Like
what Garcia said, when talking about Press Freedom, you are the guardian of our Philippine
Democracy.

“Like what I’ve said, in every freedom there is a limitation or boundaries” Sanggalang added.

In every bill there is always a provided fund from our government for it to implement.

The very reason why the Bill approved by the government to give youths voice not only in
urban places, but also for everyone.
