Short film: Horror

Ideas: Horror, based on two sentence horror stories,
“The driver wasn't very chatty, so I checked my phone, “Hey, it's your uber, im outside.”-
Stalker idea
Social media
Ends with stalker helping family find her

“My friend sophia”

Basic idea: From the stalkers pov, My Friend Sophia follows a boy who is stalking his hs
crush. At the end we see her get into a car that she believes is her uber, but it is the
stalker's car and he kidnaps her. The genre is horror and it's based on the two sentence
horror stories, “The driver wasn't very chatty, so I checked my phone, “Hey, it's your uber,
I'm outside.”, implying that the driver of the car she is in isn't her uber.

Plot-
Intro: It begins with a girl helping a boy pick his books up in the hallway. He notices the
sweatshirt she is wearing and proceeds to find her on all socials. We see throughout the
beginning of the story the boy is watching the girl. (Garret mountain) follows her running
in the woods. Following all her social media. He has a folder on his computer with all the
pictures of her.

Rising action: Prom is coming up. Everyone is excited. The boy plans on asking Sophia out,
but a football player kicks him out of the way and asks Sophia out himself. This leads the
boy to becoming fully obsessed and making a plan to keep Sophia all to himself.

Conflict: Prom night arrives. Sophia orders an uber to go home. The boy drives up as the
“uber”. She gets in, says hello and does not recognize the boy. He says that she looked
really pretty tonight. She's confused because she doesn't realize it's the boy. She then gets a
text from her real uber saying that he is waiting for her. She realizes that she's in the
wrong car. Cuts to balck. We hear her screaming for him to let her out, he then says
“you're finally mine now”.

Resolution/conclusion: After the credit scene, we see a close up of a missing poster being
posted. Pan to the boy stapling it to a tree. We see the girl's parents behind him saying how
grateful they are that she has such great friends helping them find her. He explains how
grateful he is to help the search. Transitions over to a girl talking to her friends trying to
help the search, and the audience realizes he is looking for his next victim.
