Scene 1

Takes place in a dark room and a person with a laptop. The scene is
shot from behind the person and only shows the laptop. He opens a
tab on his computer and opens up a group and creates a post. It
reads ‘Beware! A criminal’s daughter goes to our school.’ with a
picture of a girl.

Scene 2
Takes place in the lunch area. A girl is eating lunch and is approached
by 2 girls.

Lily: well, look who it is. The criminal’s daughter. We better be careful or
she might steal our things. She starts laughing as she looks at her
phone.

Sarah: what do you mean by criminal’s daughter… what are you talking
about? Confused as she looks up at Lily and her friend.

Emily: seems like you haven't seen the school group. A random person
sent a post yesterday. Look! It says ‘Beware! A criminal’s daughter goes to
our school.’ she says as she pulls out her phone and shows it to
Sarah.

Lily: Emily, there's no use showing it to her. She already knows and she's
been hiding it from all of us. Let's go before we get something stolen from
us. Pulling Emily's arm so they can leave.

Sarah is just sitting there with tears in her eyes: who would do this and
how did they know. She says to herself.

She pulls out her phone from her bag and goes to the school group
and looks at the comments. Comments: 'Omg, I always knew she was
weird, but I didn't expect this.' 'I can't believe a criminal is in our
school.' 'she looks like a criminal.'
Suddenly, she gets a message. ‘What’s going on?’ ‘what happened to
your dad?’ it was sarah’s friend. She replies by saying: ‘someone
posted on our school group that my dad is a criminal.’ ‘He stole some
money from a supermarket and he got caught.’ He went to prison but
only stayed there for a year.’ ‘but no one knew except me and my
dad.’ ‘it wasn’t a huge crime but someone is making it seem like it
was huge.’

Scene 3

Takes place at Sarah's house. She is on her phone when she gets
some messages.

Girl 1: you should get kick out of school.

Boy 1: if you don’t leave the school, i will contact the police.

Girl 2: i bet that’s why no one likes you!

Boy 2: you are nothing but a thief and criminal.

Sarah looks at all the messages and then throws her phone away. She
starts to cry. After a while, she decides to go out for a walk. Then she
feels scared and runs back home.

Scene 4

Takes place in the same dark room. The person is on the laptop and
opens up Facebook. He starts to write and creates a post. It says ‘The
most popular girl in our school is living a life of lies. She has no
family and is an orphan. She lives in an orphanage.’ and has a picture
of Lily.
Scene 5

Takes place at school in the lunch area. Lily is on her phone when she
is approached by her friend.

Emily: oh my gosh, I can’t believe you don’t have a family. All this time you
were fooling everyone. I thought that Sarah’s secret was bad but your
secret is even worse. Not to mention it was published on social media and
not our school group.

Lily: what! What do you mean? I thought no one knew. Who created the
post? She is confused and shocked. She looks like she is about to cry.

Emily: what, haven’t you checked your facebook page yet? Some random
person posted it there. The whole school knows about it.

Lily grabs her phone off the table and opens Facebook. She looks at
the comments.

Comments: ‘she is such a liar!’ ‘homeless girl’ ‘orphan girl’ ‘omg, I

had no idea. I knew there was something wrong about her.’

Emily: well, I am glad that came out. Now I will be the most popular girl at
school. And we are no longer friends. She says as she leaves.

Lily sits there crying. Suddenly someone comes behind her and puts
a hand on her shoulder.

Sarah: are you ok? I saw the post. I wonder who is doing this. She says as
she sits beside her.

Lily: why are being nice to me? After all the things I said to you.

Sarah: I know how it feels. Cyberbullying is a huge problem nowadays.

Anyone can get affected. The most important thing to know is that we
should be careful with what we put out on the internet.

Lily: I am sorry for how I treated you. Yeah,you are right about being careful
with what we put on the internet.
Sarah: it’s ok. If you don’t mind me asking, what happened to your family.

Lily: it’s ok, they died in a fire accident. I was really young then and my aunt
took care of me. Then she sent me to an orphanage. Finally, last year I got
adopted.

Sarah: oh, I am really sorry. Anyways, do you want to meet after school at
my house?

Lily: sure.

Sarah: great, then we can go to the mall near my house. See you then,bye.
She says as she gets up to leave.

Lily:bye. She says as she waves bye to sarah.

Scene 6

Takes place when Lily and sarah are on the road. They are about to
cross the road.

Sarah: the mall is on the other side of the street. We have to cross the
road.

Lily: ok. She says as they look at both sides of the road before
crossing.

Scene 7

Takes place at the hospital. Sarah is sleeping on the hospital bed with
lily sitting by her side. There is a police officer standing beside them.

Sarah moves around and then wakes up: where am i? What happened?

Lily: you are in the hospital.

The police officer: that’s why I am here. To find out what happened on that
day.
Sarah: I don’t remember what happened. All I remember is that we aware
about to cross the street. Then suddenly everything went black.

Lily: I can tell you what happened. I was about to cross the road when a
black car came racing towards us. I didn’t see it coming but sarah did. So
she pushed me away but the car hit her instead. It took me a while to
realise what happened. But then I called the ambulance.

Police: do you think someone wanted to do this purposely?

Sarah: we don’t know but last week someone was cyberbullying us. I think
it might be them.

Suddenly, the door opens and a boy walks in.

The boy: I have something to confess. He says as he walks in and and

closes the door behind him.

Police: who are you?

The boy: my name is jack. Sarah and lily might know me.I am the person
who posted your secrets.

Lily stood up from her chair and is shocked: what! You did that. How
did you find out.

Jack: yes, I did that. My dad is a journalist and he gets all the news. So
when I found out about your secrets, I decided to use them against you.

Sarah: why did you do that?

Jack: i did it because both of you hurt me a long time ago. We all were in
school together. But it was when we were younger. You and lily got me
suspended from the school because I did a silly prank on both of you. That
day I was so angry but I couldn’t do anything. A few months ago, I found
some secrets about both of you and I decided to use it to bully you.

Police: so you are the one crashed the car into Sarah? He asked in a
serious tone.
Jack: no! It wasn’t me. Another person who was my friend did that. We both
posted the secrets on social media but he wanted to take things further and
actually hurt them. I didn’t want to do that. I just wanted to embarrass them
not hurt them.

Police: well, I think you should go to the police station and tell them
everything. He then turns to the girls to tell them something.

Police: girls, you should be careful from now on. You should have contact
someone or told an adult about what was happening. You should also learn
about all the privacy settings on all of your social medai platforms.

The police looks at Jack and says: you should always be careful with
what you post online. You never know what will happen. Never write
anything that could hurt other people’s feelings.
