would easily attend and contribute their values to society, for instance planting trees in the
around school's backyard. However, I totally disagree that we should not require students to
do unpaid work in their free time to help local community or in school.

individual and society as a whole. However, I do not agree that we should therefore force all
teenagers to do unpaid work.

 Nowadays, the number of children using smartphone is increasing. Many
parents allow their kids to use smartphones so that they are able to be in touch
with their kids and stay updated on their whereabouts. Nonetheless, a number
of parents are concerned that a phone irresponsibly used can have detrimental
effects on their child. For example, children can be exposed to crime or
violence from “black” websites or they may become addicted to games and
easily distracted from their study.

• It is true that more and more people are opting to read
news online for reasons related to convenience and better
interaction. As far as the first idea is considered, the
Internet is convenient as not only it allows people to read

mode of reading does not cost much, thereby continuing to
attract more and more people. The second point is that
online news media are more interactive since they permit
people to watch videos and leave comments or join
discussions. Football news, for example, are often
accompanied by videos of important moments in the game
plus a comment section for fans to discuss. 
• However, I still hold the view that newspapers will continue
to dominate the news industry. One major reason is that
some people do not have access to the Internet or lack
computer skills, and hence, cannot read news on the Internet.
This can be exemplified clearly by the case of people from the
old generation or those who live in remote areas. Another
point that needs to be considered is that news on the Internet
can be misleading. Therefore, those who want to have a
trustworthy source of news may opt for the conventional
newspapers in which articles have to undergo stricter
process of review and validation.

on virtual platforms is gaining in popularity, I still believe
traditional newspapers are here to stay.
