How electricity gets into our homes


Electricity is all around us. We use it to 1……………… our homes, power our computers and cook our food.
It’s hard to 2……………… life without it. How does electricity get into our homes, though?

In the past, all power stations burnt 3……………… fuels (coal, oil or gas) to produce energy which they
