    Dear Mrs Salvador,

    Please excuse my daughter, Dyasenne Kyle Madamo, for not being able to turn
    in her output in PE on time yesterday. It's because her grandfather got sick and
    we needed someone to take care of him, so we asked her to go back home to
    Romblon. She took a ship for a 10-hour journey. Everything transpired so quickly
    that she lost sight of the fact that she had a passing activity. So I wrote this letter
    to ask for your kind consideration in accepting her output. On behalf of my
    daughter, I assure you that this won’t happen again.
