terminated after the Owner has accepted in writing, the draft of the
final reports and after the Bidder has delivered all originals and

4.5.3.4. DEEP WELL INVESTIGATION

4.5.3.4.1 SCOPE OF WORK

enable ground water development shall be selected first, and then, an
exploratory well shall be excavated (drilled) into bedrock stratum. The
quantity of deep well shall refer to Mechanical Specification in Sub-
Section 4.6.3.

Finally, the quantity and quality of the ground water shall be checked
using these wells.

the aquifer. A current is usually passed into the ground

survey through to metal electrodes, and the potential
difference is measured between two similar electrodes.
With suitable deployment of the electrodes, the system
may be used to provide information on the Geo-
electrical stratification of the ground (depth probes).

For interpretation of the results obtained by this method,

it is essential to take into account existing data the
results of field reconnaissance.

Electrical prospecting shall be carried conformation of

Geological condition of foundation bedrock with probe
depth: 200 m x 10 points.

The Horizontal electrical profiling method shall be

employed for the investigation of Alluvium layers.

Results to be obtained:
a. p-a Curve, Where p :Apparent resistivity
a :Distance between
Electrodes
b. Apparent resistivity depth probe
c. Distribution map of apparent resistivity
d. Expected geological cross section, etc.

(4) Test Well Drilling Survey

Based on the results of the above geophysical

investigations, the possibility of potential aquifer can be
identified. The Bidder shall select the most suitable
location for test well drilling after obtaining approval
from the Owner. Test well drilling survey shall be carried
out as follows (Depth is provisional).

i) The final depth of test wells shall be determined

based on the results obtained from the field
surface investigations, and from the results of
mapping of holes during test drilling. The final
depth shall be approved by the Owner.
ii) Drilling holes shall be done by Rotary Core
