The above-named person is a bona-fide First year Bachelor of Veterinary Medicine (BVM) student in the
University of Nairobi.

The student is required to undertake a total of eight (8) weeks of farm practice and field attachment,
whose main aim is to expose the student to practical livestock husbandry practices in a farm set up
including but not limited to:

• Different species and breeds


• Animal handling
• Routine management practices e.g. feeding, breeding, milking, identification, disease control
• Farm records
• Pasture and fodder production and conservation
