Please be informed of this correspondence from the People's Survival Fund (PSF), pertaining to their Call for Proposal for the grant of PSF to LGUs, with details as follows Priority is given to those LGUs with a high presence of multiple, climate-related hazards, high poverty incidence, and with present key biodiversity areas, They will be rated according to the following 30 % - Presence of Multiple Hazards 30 % - Presence of Key Biodiversity Areas 40 % - Poverty Incidence Below are the list of documents to be submitted to the PSF Board Secretariat: i. Letter of Intent ji. Accomplished Project Proposal Template ili, Adaptation references, which may include any of the following: a. Climate Risk and Vulnerability assessments b. CCA-DRR-enhanced Comprehensive Land Use/Development plans (CDPs) c. Local Climate Change Action Plan iv. Annual Investment Plan (AIP) Other documentary requirements may be required after passing the initial screening process. Interested LGUs should submit all the required documents to the PSF Board Secretariat on or before March 31, 2023. It aims to support LGUs in carrying out adaptation activities such as: a. Adaptation activities in the areas of water resources and land management, agriculture and fisheries, health, infrastructure development, and natural and coastal ecosystem; b. Improvement of monitoring, prevention, and control of vector-borne diseases triggered by climate change; . Forecasting and early warning system for climate change preparedness; d. Strengthening or establishment of regional centers and information networks supporting climate change projects; e. Risk transfer insurance needs for agriculture and other stakeholders; and {Community adaptation support programs by local organizations.
