1. UBE JAM - The Ube jam has a definite shelf life though, so make sure you transport the Baguio
souvenir food properly and consume immediately.

2. STRAWBERRY JAM - The best souvenir from Baguio next to fresh strawberries is strawberry
jam or preserve. If you prefer your strawberries cooked, mashed, and concocted into this
wonderfully sweet, pulpy goodness, get the strawberry jam pasalubong from Baguio.

3. SUNDOT KULANGOT - Sundot kulangot is actually a dessert made from coconut milk, glutinous
rice, and brown sugar. The name of these Baguio souvenir dessert comes from the way you
would eat the dessert; since the kalamay or the sticky sweet dessert made from glutinous rice
and coconut milk, is placed inside small wooden orbs, the only way to eat them would be to
use your finger or a small spoon.

4. Lengua de Gato - a pasalubong from Baguio that literally means “cat’s tongue” in Spanish, and
since these cookies are shaped like a cat’s tongue, they are named so. They are simple yet
delicious butter cookies which are always available and in abundance at Baguio’s public
markets.

5. Peanut and Cashew Brittle - When it comes to pasalubong from Baguio nothing beats the
classic peanut brittle! If you can, get them from Good Shepherd brand or from Baguio
Paradise, as they really know how to make a good jar of these sweet, glassy goodness.
Romana’s has a version that uses whole peanuts instead of crushed nuts. For a different take
on the classic dessert, get the cashew brittle.

BACKGROUND/KALIGIRAN

Baguio,to many, is best known as the "Summer Capital of the Philippines", with its cool
climate making this a spot to escape the chaotic scenes in Manila. The city is also home
to tropical pine forests, lending the city the nickname "City of Pines".

PARAAN NG TRANSPORTASYON

1. Jeepney. The cheaper way to get around. If your hotel is near Burnham, you can easily
find a jeepney. There are terminals just outside the park.

2. Taxi. The more convenient way. If you're a group, it's affordable too.

1. Boating in burnham park - you'll find different clusters that consist of various attractions
like a children's playground, a rose garden, an orchidarium, a picnic grove, and a
traditional Igorot garden. Its main highlight, however, is a man-made lake in the center of
the park.

2. Camp John Hay - Ang 213 ektarya ng lupa ay itinalaga noon bilang "Camp John Hay",
isang reserbasyon ng militar para sa mga sundalong Amerikano, noong Oktubre 1903 nang
lagdaan ni US President Theodore Roosevelt ang isang presidential order. Ang mga tauhan
ng militar ng Amerika ay binigyan ng isang lugar upang kanlungan mula sa mas mainit na
temperatura ng mababang lupain.

3. Mines View Park - Ang Mines View Park ay isang overlook park sa hilagang-silangang
labas ng Baguio sa Pilipinas. Ito ay limang kilometro ang layo mula sa Puso ng Baguio,
dumadaan sa Botanical Garden, Mansion House, Wright Park, at Pacdal Circle.
4. Strawberry Farms in La Trinidad - Ang La Trinidad ay ang kabisera ng Benguet. Kilala
rin ito bilang Strawberry Capital of the Philippines dahil sa malaking plantasyon nito ng
masasarap na strawberry.

5. The Mansion - Ang Mansion House (kilala rin bilang The Mansion) ay ang opisyal na
palasyo ng tag-init ng Pangulo ng Pilipinas. Ang mansyon ay matatagpuan sa kabisera ng
tag-init ng bansa, ang Baguio, na nasa humigit-kumulang 5,000 talampakan asl sa
Cordillera Central Range ng hilagang Luzon. Bahay na Mansyon.

6. Baguio Botanical Garden - Sikat na botanical garden na nagtatampok ng iba't ibang


halaman at makukulay na bulaklak, kasama ng mga katutubong kubo.

7. Baguio Cathedal - Our Lady of Atonement Cathedral / Baguio Cathedral. sa


pamamagitan ng. Ang Our Lady of Atonement Cathedral na mas kilala bilang
Baguio Cathedral ay isang Roman Catholic cathedral na itinayo noong 1920 at
natapos noong 1936. Nakuha ang pangalan nito mula sa isa sa mga titulong
ibinigay kay Maria na ina ni Hesus.

8. Taoist Architecture of Bell Church - Ang Bell Church ay isang Chinese Filipino
indigenous religious organization na nakabase sa La Trinidad, Benguet,
Philippines. Ito ay pinamumunuan ni Elias Ng, ang Espirituwal na Pinuno at
Punong Administrator ng Bell Church.

9. Baguio Museum - Kung interesado kang malaman ang tungkol sa cultural


heritage at kasaysayan ng Baguio City, maaari kang magtanong sa mga lokal—o
maaari kang pumunta sa Baguio Museum. Ang Baguio Museum ay
kumakatawan, itinataguyod, at kinakatawan ang kultural at makasaysayang
pamana ng Baguio City.
