1. Opening the outer-cover

1.1 Take down the cover plate, then take down the power switching board

Troubleshooting

1. Power on, refractor head without any response.

1.1 Check the both ends plug of power board connection in the refractor head and power supply if
connect well. Pull and insert the cable.

1.2 Observe indicator lights in the main board of refractor head to see if it is light up. Then check the
J112 interface of main board corresponding to voltage +24±0.5V and +5V±0.3V normal or not,
the testing result as following:

1.2.1 If both power indicator lights are light up, or both +24±0.5V and +5V±0.3V voltage are
normal, then change the main board of refractor head (copy the corresponding series
number program)

1.2.2 If only one power indicator light is light up, or only one voltage between +24±0.5V and
+5V±0.3V is normal, then we should replace the main board of power box firstly. If the
problem does not solved, then continue to replace the 36-pin data cable which connect the
refractor head and power box.

1.2.3) If both power indicator lights does not light up, or both +24±0.5V and +5V±0.3V voltage
are not normal, then replace the 36-pin data cable which connect the refractor head and
power box firstly. If the problem does not solved, then replace the main board of power box.

2. Power on, refractor head completed initialization, but tablet not able to
connect with the built-in Bluetooth module

2.1 Open the refractor head covers, check if the Bluetooth module light is blink.

Check the Bluetooth module is well connected to the board, try to pull out and

reconnect the cables.

2.2 Replace the Bluetooth module with new one.

2.3 Check if the Bluetooth function of the tablet is proper functioning

2.4 Replace the main PC board of refractor head (update the corresponding machine initialization

data by software)

Repair parts: Bluetooth module board, main PC board of refractor head

3. Power on, refractor head completed initialization, tablet connect the refractor
head normally, but could not control the refractor head.

3.1 Check the Bluetooth module is well connected to the board, try to pull out and

reconnect the cables.

3.2 Replace the Bluetooth module with new one.

3.3 Check if the Bluetooth function of the tablet is proper functioning

3.4 Replace the main PC board of refractor head (update the corresponding machine

initialization data by software)

Repair parts: Bluetooth module board, main PC board of refractor head

4. Power on, only one side of the refractor head with the no 1 disk stop rotating
until rotating in place, another side no 1 disk not move, and initialization stop.

4.1 Opening the bracket front cover of the refractor head and the and the corresponding
cover of not move no 1 disk, check if the 26 core flat cable is loosen between the
main PC board and the drive board, try to pull out and reconnect it.

4.2 Replace the 26 core flat cable with new one.

4.3 Connect a new step motor to the corresponding interface of the broken No 1 disk,
check if the new motor is rotating normally, if yes, then replace the motor with new
one, if not, then replace the driving board,

4.4 Replace the main PC board of refractor head (update the corresponding machine

initialization data by software)

5. Power on, during the initialization process, one of the lens disk in one side
keeping rotating without stop.

5.1 Check if the magnetic bead drop out from the hall switch of this disk

5.2 Open the cover of the corresponding side, check if the 26 core flat cable is loosen
between the main PC board and the drive board, try to pull out and reconnect it.

5.3 Check if the 11 core flat cable between the driving board and hall switch is loosening,
try to pull out and reconnect it.

5.4 Use a new hall switch for try, if the machine working well after use the new hall
switch, then replace the hall switch with new one and reset the initial position of the
lens disk.

5.5 Replace the driving board of corresponding side.

5.6 Replace the main PC board of refractor head (update the corresponding machine

initialization data by software)

Repair parts: Hall switch, driving board, refractor head main PC board

6. Power on, during the initialization process, both sides of the refractor head
with the No 1 disk keeping rotating without stop.

6.1 Open the cover of refractor head, check if the 26 core flat cable is loosen between the main PC
board and the drive board, try to pull out and reconnect it.

6.2 Replace the 26 core flat cable with new one

6.3 Replace the main PC board of refractor board (update the corresponding machine

initialization data by software)

Repair parts: 26 core flat cable, main PC board of refractor head

7. Power on, initialization process complete normally, but lens disks malposition,
problem not released after restart the machine.

7.1 Open the corresponding cover, check if the 11 core flat cable is loosen between the hall switch

and the drive board, try to pull out and reconnect it.
7.2 Replace the 11 core cable with new one.
7.3 Check if the corresponding lens disk drive step motor have the problem of gear loose, or gear
clearance is too big, if yes, then replace the drive step motor, or adjust the gear clearance.
7.4 Use a new hall switch board for try, if the machine working well after use the new hall
Switch board, then replace the hall switch board with new one and reset the initial
position of the lens disk.
7.5 Replace the corresponding drive board.

8. Power on, initialization process stopped when some of the lens disk just start
rotating.

8.1 Replace the hall switch board of the corresponding lens disk which stop the initialization
process, and then reset the initial position of the lens disk.
8.2 Replace the corresponding drive board
8.3 Replace the main PC board of refractor head (update the corresponding machine initialization

data by software)

Repair parts: Hall switch board, drive board, main pc board of the refractor head

9. Power on, during the initialization process, one of the lens disk rotating hard
and shake, or stuck with noise, or prism lens disk inversion and with loud
noise.

9.1 Rotate the problem lens disk with 360 degree by hand, check if the gear is rotating
normally, if normal, then continue with next exam, if no normal, then firstly should find
the reason of the gear stuck and then solve it, or adjust the gear clearance.

9.2 Use a new step motor and connect it to the corresponding problem motor interface,
check if the new step motor is working well, if yes, then replace the step motor with
new one, if not, then replace both the step motor and drive board,

10. Power on, during the initialization process, one of the cylinder axis disk or
prism disk(drive by speed down step motor) keeping rotating without stop, or
rotating always with one direction.

10.1 Check if the corresponding optoelectrical limit switch is well connected, and if the cable of the

optoelectronic switch is broken, loose weld, pull out and reconnect the connectors.
10.2. Check if the corresponding photoelectrical limit switch is well installation. And if the position
hole on the gear plate is respond to photoelectrical switch.
10.3 Connect a new photoelectrical limit to the problem interface, check if the step motor
is working well, if yes, then replace the photoelectrical switch, if not, then replace the
drive board.

Repair parts: photoelectrical limit switch, drive board

11. Power on, during the initialization process, one of the cylinder axis disk or
prism disk(drive by speed down step motor) not rotating , or rotating hard, or
stuck.

11.1 Check if the gap between the gear plate and motor gear of the problem dosk is normal.
11.2 Check if the cable of the corresponding drive step motor is loosen, pull out and reconnect it
again.
11.3 Move away the problem gear plate from the motor gear, and then turn on the power and check
if the step motor working well, if yes, then adjust the gap of the gear, if not, then continue with
next step.
11.4 Connect a new step motor to the problem interface, check if the step motor is working
well, if yes, then replace the step motor, if not, then replace the drive board.

Repair parts: Step motor （PG15S-J20）, drive board

12. Power on, during the initialization process, PD motor not rotating,
locked-rotor or initial not in place.

12.1 Open the upper bracket cover of refractor head, move the PD component with tool by hand,
check if the PD movement range is smooth, if not smooth, then solve the mechanical
resistance problem
12.2 Check if the corresponding optoelectrical limit switch is well connected, and if the cable of the
optoelectronic switch is broken, loose weld, pull out and reconnect the connectors.
12.3 Check if the baffle effective shading on the PD limit optoelectrical switch installation position
12.4 Check if the corresponding PD drive step motor well connected to the interface, pull out and
reconnect the connectors.
12.5 Replace the corresponding PD limit optoelectrical switch
12.6 Replace the main PC board of refractor head (update the corresponding machine initialization
data by software)

13. Power on, during the initialization process, CONV(far/near switch) motor
keep moving with stop, or not rotating, or locked-rotor or moving not in place.

13.1 Open the upper bracket cover of refractor head, check if the CONV limit optoelectrical switch is
well install, and if the cable of the optoelectronic switch is broken, loose weld, pull out and
reconnect the connectors.
13.2 Check if the baffle effective shading on the CONV limit optoelectrical switch installation
position
13.3 Check if the corresponding CONV drive step motor well connected to the interface, pull out
and reconnect the connectors.
13.4 Replace the corresponding CONV limit optoelectrical switch
13.5 Replace the corresponding CONV step motor.
13.6 Replace the main PC board of refractor head (update the corresponding machine initialization
data by software)
