1. Identify the firm’s existing vision, mission, objectives, & strategies
2. Develop vision & mission for the organization
3. Identify external opportunities & threats
4. Construct CPM & EFE matrices
5. Identify internal strengths & weaknesses
6. Construct IFE matrix
7. Prepare: SWOT, SPACE, BCG, IE, Grand Strategy & QSP Matrices as
appropriate. Give advantages & disadvantages of alternative
strategies.
8. Prepare VRIN analysis
9. Recommend:
a. Specific strategies & long-term objectives
b. Show how much your recommendation will cost. Itemized these cost for each
projected year
c. Compare your recommendations to actual strategies planned by your case-
company
d. Specify how your recommendations can be implemented & what results
you can expected.
10. Recommend procedures for strategy review & evaluation
