First Speaker:

INTRODUCTION:
1. Greetings, teachers and students!
Before we start, we would like to take this opportunity to come with us and
celebrate International Women’s Month! This just shows how strong women
embrace strength in femininity and to remind women to celebrate women’s
milestones and their extraordinary roles in all spheres of society.
2. Okay now, the topic for our debate is THAT women are better or stronger than
men.
3. We disagree with the definition given by the opposition BECAUSE:
4. However we, the negative team, believe that this statement is true!

TEAM SPLIT:
1. Today as the first speaker I will be talking to you about Women
Life-Expectancy Champions and Women’s Rights
2. Our second speaker will be talking about Women Can Give Births and
Women's Survival Skills just as their Management Skills!
3. Our third speaker will sum up our team case.

Definition or Rebuttal responses:

- We live in a world that hails superheroes like Superman and Spider-Man. And
so, often we end up taking women and their strength for granted. Blame it on the
misogynist that is deeply rooted in our culture or simply the patriarchal mindset
that thrives on making women take the backseat, they are often perceived as the
“Weaker Sex”,

But you know what? That’s a completely false perception, which we shall clear
right, right now. Because, contrary to popular belief, women are stronger than
men. Oh, and we’re not orchestrating this. There’s enough scientific proof that
Women is better than Men!

- Women are more flexible than Men. A woman doesn’t have to be physically
strong when it comes to physical performance. Even if you can’t touch your toes,
you can maneuver and move your body in ways that men can’t. Women are more
flexible than men, according to studies done by Alexander Orthopaedic
Associates. It is because women have special mobility and stability that men
don’t. It also means that women are less likely to get injured and have
faster-paced reactions than men.

-As per a study published in the journal The Royal Society Publishing, a unit of a
fit woman’s muscles can produce the same force as that of a similarly fit man.
So, women just have a lower muscle mass, not muscle strength, got it?
Considering the fact that we tend to have a heavier lower body, the study also
points out that women’s legs may be stronger than that of men. A study in the
Journal of Applied Physiology, Nutrition, and Metabolism states that female athletes can
soak up and process oxygen faster than men. So, unless you want to witness that
strength in the form of a kick on your rear, stop underestimating the women in
life.

ARGUMENTS:
1. I am now going to debate Women Life-Expectancy!
2. As per the data maintained by the global Gerontology Research Group, out of
the 43 people in the world who’ve made it past the age of 110 years, 42 are
women! Philosophically speaking, the blessings we seek for our efforts and
sincerity as a mother, a wife, a homemaker, a breadwinner and what not may
have a part to play in our longevity. But scientifically speaking, women tend to live
longer than men due to complex interaction of biological, environmental and
social factors as per a study published in the journal Proceedings of National
Academy of the United States of America. The world average age of death is a
few years lower at 68.9 years for men and 74.9 for women. Female bodies are
known to produce stronger immune responses and larger amounts of antibodies
compared with male bodies and MEN are more vulnerable than women to death
for most major causes, including infections, cancer and cardiovascular diseases.
To conclude, women suffer from illness less likely to kill them.

2. Now to my second point, I’ll be discussing Women's Rights.

- These include the right to live free from violence and discrimination; to enjoy the
highest attainable standard of physical and mental health; to be educated; to own
property; to vote and to earn an equal wage. But across the globe many women
and girls still face discrimination on the basis of sex and gender. Gender
inequality underpins many problems which disproportionately affect women and
girls, such as domestic and sexual violence, lower pay, lack of access to
education, and inadequate healthcare. For many years women’s rights
movements have fought hard to address this inequality, campaigning to change
laws or taking to the streets to demand their rights are respected.

Onto this topic Women’s Rights, let’s talk Sexual and Reproductive Rights.
Every woman and girl has sexual and reproductive rights . This means they are
entitled to equal access to health services like contraception and safe abortions,
to choose if, when, and who they marry, and to decide if they want to have
children and if so how many, when and with who.
Women should be able to live without fear of gender-based violence, including
rape and other sexual violence, female genital mutilation, forced marriage, forced
pregnancy, forced abortion, or forced sterilization. A strong woman stands up for
herself. She is not afraid to share her ideas and thoughts, regardless of what
others think.” “She speaks her heart and her mind.” “She respects herself enough
to stand up for herself, the causes she believes in, and the welfare of others.” To
conclude, Women Rights and Human Rights!
