COURSE SYLLABUS
1. General information
2. Course description
This course is designed to familiarize students with the TOEIC test, help them improve their score
on this test, and develop their proficiency in using English in a business setting. Specifically, the
course provides students with the learning tools they need to build knowledge and improve their four
skills, namely listening, reading, speaking and writing, for the purpose of achieving a good score and
becoming an independent user of English. The course addresses the challenges students may
encounter in each section of the test and offers useful strategies or solutions to help them overcome
these challenges. Students are also provided with strategies, tips and advice on how to approach each
section in the test and answer the questions appropriately.
Carefully designed activities for practice (together with answer key and audio scripts) not only help
students identify their own weaknesses but also gradually bring them closer to the actual TOEIC test.
