1. SAMBONG
- Traditional medicine as a treatment for fever, cough, headache, boils, abdominal pain
and gaseous distention.

2. AKAPULKO
- Decoctions of the leaves, flowers, and bark are used to treat skin diseases such as
eczema or prutitis, while decoction of the wood is useful in cases of constipation.

3. NIYOG-NIYOGAN
- Niyog-niyogan leaves are pounded and applied to skin ulcers and bolls. Also applied to
the head to relieve headaches.
- Ripe fruit of this are used as remedy for Diarrhea and fever.

4. TSAANG GUBAT
- Herbal medicine that helps to relieve pain and diarrhea in adults.

5. AMPALAYA
- Fruits and pulps are used in treating asthma, constipation, colic, diabetes, cough, fever, gout,
helminthiasis, leprosy, inflammation, skin diseases, ulcer and wound.

6. LAGUNDI
- Herbal medicine for cough and considered a potential adjunctive treatment for covid-19.

7. ULASIMANG BATO
- An herbal plant that decreases the serum uric acid levels with an average drop of up to
78% in two weeks of oral intake.
- Reliefs rom joint pains and hyperuricema. Its analgesic, anti-infl ammatory, and
anti-hyperuricemic properties makes ulasimang bato a viable alternative for Allopurinol, the
common medication for hyperuricema and gout.

8. BAWANG
- One of the earliest documented herbs utilized for the maintenance of health and
treatment of diseases such as controlling of level of cholesterol and blood regulation of blood
pressure..

9. BAYABAS
- Used in herbal medicine as antiseptic, anti-inflammatory, anti-spasmodic, antioxidant
hepatoprotective, anti-allergy, antimicrobial, anti-plasmodial, anti-cough, antidiabetic, and
antigenotoxic.

10. YERBA BUENA


- Herbal medicine that helps sooth pain, relieves nasal congestion, and treats digestive
problems such as irritable bowel syndrome.
