A conductor is a substance that allows electricity to flow through it. In a
conductor, electrical charge carriers, usually electrons, move easily from
atom to atom when voltage is applied.

that enable it to serve as foundation for computer and other electronic device. It is typically
a solid chemical element that conduct electricity under certain conditions but not others.

Gallium arsenide, Germanium, Silicon.
