Introduction: An online student management system is a web-based application that is used by

educational institutions to manage and track various academic and administrative tasks such as
student registration, attendance, grading, and other related activities. This project aims to develop
an online student management system using Python and MySQL that will help educational
institutions improve their administrative processes, reduce paper-based transactions, and improve
communication between students, teachers, and parents.

Project Scope: The project will develop a web-based application that can be accessed by students,
teachers, and administrators. The application will allow students to register for classes, view their
class schedules, track their academic progress, and communicate with teachers and advisors.
Teachers will be able to view and manage their class rosters, record attendance, and grade
assignments. Administrators will be able to manage student records, create reports, and monitor the
performance of teachers and students.
