    The 418 Squadron of the Australian Air Force Cadets is accepting applications for positions in the Duty Cadet Group. Two positions are available for Duty Cadet Members and four for Duty Cadets. The role of Assistant Duty Cadet Officer has been assigned. All applications must be submitted by March 12th. Duty Cadet Members are responsible for ensuring tasks are completed and delegating work to Duty Cadets. Duty Cadets will assist Duty Cadet Members and are expected to help keep schedules on time.     Positions available
    The following positions are available Two Duty Cadet Member, Four Duty Cadets the role of
    ASSTDCO has been assigned. All members will be briefed on duties once selection is complete. All
    applications should be submitted by 12/03/23 COB. All applications should be via email or minute
    format to the DCO

    Duty Cadet member - LCDT


    DCMs are to ensure the roll have been completed by NLT 1850Hrs on parade nights.
    DCMs are responsible for DCs and must ensure that they are completing the required task.
    DCMs are to delegate tasks to DCs and must ensure that the timetable is followed to the correct times.
    DCMs must be willing to follow instructions from the ASSTDCO (a experienced LDCT).
    DCMs must be active within the Squadron to be considered for selection.
    Duty Cadet Member Application Questions
    1. Why do you want to join the Duty Cadet Group?
    2. What is you past commitment to the SQN eg. Attendance at parade nights and activities?
    3. Do you think you will be good at the role of DCM why/why not?
    Duty Cadets - CDT
    DCs are to work closely with DCMs by following instructions from DCMs.
    DCs are expected to keep time and give 5 minute warnings to instructors at a minimum.
    DCs may be instructed to mark the roll.
    DCs are to work with DMCs to ensure that the training program is running on time.
    DCs must be committed to the Squadron and AAFC and have at least a 80% attendance rate
