UNIFORM SCHEDULE
1. The uniform schedule for the second half of 2023 is contained within Annex A of this
document. Nil variations will be made from this schedule without the expressed permission of the
XO, PLTOFF(AAFC) Stephen. Where GPUs are the assigned uniform, AAFC baseball cap and
badge are to be worn once issued. All members of the unit, both staff and cadets, are required to
comply with the uniform schedule. Where members have no uniform or are unable to wear
uniform for medical reasons, neat civilian attire is to be worn.
DUTY ROSTER
2. The Duty Roster for the second half of 2023 is contained within Annex A of this
document. Duty Member and Cadet are to ensure they are present for their night of duty or
organise a suitable replacement through the CSQNWOFF, CSGT Soliman or XO respectfully.
All members are to ensure they are fully aware of responsibilities prior to duty. Please note that
all Cadets will be dismissed at 2130hrs.
SECTION FORMATION
4. The following table sets out the membership of each section. Any questions or issues
should first be raised with Section Commanders. Section commanders should then decide if it
should be dealt with by the SQNXI or XO. XO will raise any relevant matters with the CO. Any
member who has issues that raise concerns regarding safety or unacceptable behaviour should
raise it directly with the CO.
SECTION EMAILS
5. Section Commanders are required to send weekly emails to their Sections outlining
important information from Final Brief. Section Emails must be sent NLT 1900h, each Friday.
Guidance and templates have been provided by the XO via email. Section Members must respond
to these emails within 72 hours of the email being sent.
WEEKEND ACTIVITIES FOR SECOND HALF OF YEAR
6. Annex B of this document contains the proposed Operations Calendar (OPSCAL) for
the second part of the year. This is a guide only, exact times and details can be found on CEA.
Please note the listed activities are 332 SQN internal only. It may become necessary to cancel or
postpone activities depending on the advice of Health Authorities and Government. Where this is
necessary as much notice as possible will be provided.
LEAVE PROCESS
10. As per the Conditions of Service, members are required to attend at least 75% of Home
Parades, as well as some compulsory activities such as Bivouacs and ANZAC Day.
11. Leave Applications are to be submitted to the below members;

12. Should you require Leave, you are required to apply for Leave through the CSQNWOFF
(cadets) or XO (staff) via email at least 24 hours in advance. If you are unable to attend a Home
Parade at short notice, you are required to phone the Unit between 1800-1900h on 02 5950 7003.
13. The CSQNWOFF will call all Cadets who do not have Approved Leave between 1900-
1930h each Tuesday and report back to the CO to ensure all Cadets are accounted for.
ILLNESSES
14. All members are reminded and encouraged to be aware of illnesses such as the common
cold and flu, and COVID-19. Members who are unwell are not permitted to attend the Unit until
they have recovered. Members who test positive to COVID-19 are not permitted to attend the
Unit for at least seven days and are not displaying symptoms.
TRAVEL APPROVAL
15. If you would like to arrange car-pooling with a Cadet that lives close by, you should
make your own enquiries with those cadets.
16. Should you be required to travel with another person other than your parent/guardian,
written permission is required to be provided to the CO prior to travel. Should this be an ongoing
arrangement, this should be noted in the correspondence. Emails must come from your
parent/guardian, not your email address.
