If you have ever played Nintendo’s Super Mario Galaxy, you will be very
familiar these adorable lumas! I decided to make a yellow luma, but feel free
to make one in your favorite color! The final luma is about 5 inches (13 cm)
DIFFICULTY: beginner
MATERIALS:
• Tapestry needle
• Scissors
• Fiberfill
ABBREVIATIONS:
• ch: chain
• st: stitch
• dec: invisible decrease by going in the front loops only of 2 consecutive sts
NOTES:
§ There are 5 total pieces: the body, 2 arms, and 2 legs. Everything is worked in
the round (rather than joining). It may be helpful to place a stitch marker at
the beginning of each round (or use a scrap piece of yarn in a contrasting color).

Body
Round 1: 6 sc in MR – 6

Assembly
Stuff the arms and feet with fiberfill. Using the long tails that you left and your tapestry
needle, position the arms towards the top of the body and position the feet towards the
bottom.
