1-      Please share your motivation for undertaking this programme? (<1500 characters)

After reading the book “Management Consultant” by Richard Newton during my

entrepreneurial experience which helped me a lot to build and solve problems in my start-up
Prescience and after working with seasoned management consultants during my internships
sparked my ardent desire for the consultant industry. Being a part of the highly ranked
Imperial College & its prestigious network will allow me to come closer to my ambition of
working at consulting firm.

With a new and challenging disciplines and modules like Strategic Management and electives
like Corporate strategy, I intend to learn more about comprehensive strategy formulation,
content and implementation in firms. The Leading Social Innovation Elective Module will
teach me to be a social innovator who can tackle such problems in two main ways: by
becoming social entrepreneurs who lead social enterprises, or by becoming social
intrapreneurs who seek to achieve social change within the for-profit firms that employ them.

Furthermore, the city of London is a big motivator for me to undertake this programme. The
city itself provides countless opportunities and is home to firms like KPMG, Deloitte,
Accenture, PwC and McKinsey & Company, my target recruiters. Also, engaging with
world-renowned faculty like Dr Elena Dalpiaz, whose strategy, entrepreneurship, and
organization acumen is unparalleled, I will garner sui-generis perspectives.

2-      What is your proudest achievement? (<1500 characters)

I represent the 4th generation of my family business associated with music composition and
production, a company that started in 1949. Having received classical music education, I was
trusted to scale up our enterprise to greater heights. Consequently, after months of analysing
and learning the inner workings of the business, I deduced the need for latest technologies
that are being incorporated in the industry. This would upswing the whole production process
manifold.

I conceptualized a pioneering strategy to revamp the entire production studio with modern
high quality equipment within a low budget. This would now enable the company to work on
projects not only from Indian music industry but the entire world. Right at the outset, I was
given a reality check as crafting such strategy was not going to be easy, especially in regard
to the use of new modern equipment. My efforts began with forming an agreement with
producers and musicians, thereafter collaborating with sound designers to set up the new
department for sound design & music scoring. We got our first international project from
clients from New Zealand on March 2021.There was an increase in revenue by 74% and first
ever profit margin of $1.6 million. This project taught me numerous timeless lessons and
inculcated first-hand insights on building a viable business from scratch, making it my
proudest accomplishment.
3-      What would you contribute to the cohort and to the Imperial community?
I am an ideal fit for the extremely convivial, nimble & driven community at Imperial because
of my collaborative nature. My internship at JP Morgan especially in a team with members
coming from diverse backgrounds, both geographically and culturally, has increased my
efficiency when working in a group setting. Additionally, my infectious enthusiasm will act
as a great tool to make lasting relationships, which in turn will help me to broaden my
horizon.

I possess a natural bent for entrepreneurship. Throughout my life, I have participated in
international competition representing India & organised various events, including
tournaments, corporate meet-ups in college, food fairs & more. I plan to contribute to the
Imperial community by being highly involved in the business clubs & conferences during the
Student Leadership Day, helping upgrade the whole experience. I will endeavour to invite Mr
Akhilendra Sahu, who is the is the founder of ASTNT Technologies Pvt. Ltd and world's
youngest serial entrepreneur, with him I have personally worked on a few cutting-edge
projects.

Lastly, as a professional pianist, I plan to become a member of the UCD’s Member Society to
make the most of the culture and life at UCD. It is my firm belief to have a balance of my
core skills with extra-curricular activities. These activities can act as key to social
opportunities that can help me mix with the diverse & rich crowd at UCD.
