With the changing faces of technology, businesses across continents have unified. Having an
experience of approximately 5 years in a start-up business and as a Business Administration
graduate, I have always been inclined towards how the rapidly globalized world has created
massive opportunities for small and big businesses to dilate and prosper. My 3.5 years of work
experience with Capita India Pvt. Ltd Pune, not only gave me an opportunity to work with UK
clients but also gave me a platform to experience their various cultures, build strong
professional connections, and understand the process and significance of management
knowledge at a global level. This is how I got to know the importance of it and how imperative it
has become in this competitive world.

I have perused the websites of many universities around the globe. Whilst going through your
brochure, I was astounded by the range of courses and subjects in the domain. The
comprehensive curriculum of your Msc. Management course helped me to find the perfect match
between my learning and your offering. This will allow me to work on my weaknesses and learn
more about the business and management. I am assertive that it will have a great effect in
moulding and polishing me.

One of the major reasons why I was determined to study in the United Kingdom was because of
its enriched international experience. All year round, the country draws thousands of
individuals around the globe for harnessing a wide range of academic and professional
opportunities which is fascinating and captivating. I believe I would be able to broaden my
insights in the business world, blending with culturally sundry students hailing from different
backgrounds and nations.

The predilection I hold towards management finds its roots, when my elder brother and I
started a business of our own. Management includes Strategy, Finance, Marketing, Human
resource, entrepreneurship which I personally believe were important factors in my business. It
helped in the growth of my business through innovative ideas, concepts and, finding and
implementing solutions. Over the years, I found this domain to be both exciting and demanding,
and traversing through its root became exhilarating with each passing day.

Working in Capita India Pvt. Ltd for O2 UK, which is British’s giant telecommunications service
provider has been the best experience of my life as it has not only empowered me with technical
knowledge and managerial skills but also with life lessons. For being stupendous in interaction,
communication and eloquence, I was always nominated to manage office events, team outings
and had to delegate responsibilities to my fellow colleagues. I played the major role of
coordination with the senior management and conducted events that keep the relationship
between senior management and employees strong. It involved much planning and coordination
which also helped me to strengthen my communication and decision making skills.

Since I carry a drive to excel in whatever I do, I laid equal emphasis on both academics and
co-curricular activities. Through sports I have gained various skills, experience and confidence
which were helpful in developing my personality. From being the champion athlete and
Basketball captain in school to the captain of the State Basketball team, sports have taught me
time management, discipline and leadership skills. It allowed me to show the commitment of
time to become the quintessential punctual person. As the captain of the team, I had to take
ownership, delegate responsibilities and mentor my teammates which improved my leadership
and team building qualities. Sports’ being the synergistic interaction of mind and body has
helped me to become a team player and a leader who drives and inspires his teammates
zealously through demeanour and words.

Being a student from B.B.A background gave me a foundation for the required knowledge and
the most alluring experience was to study Management concepts, Business Economics in the
first year and Financial Management in the second year, learning about the concepts of utility,
different types of goods and organizational hierarchies was a portal to catapult my flair for the
subject.

The Business world has enchanted me for a long time. Since I am an ardent learner, and
therefore, I am always eager to gain a fair knowledge and understanding about the areas of my
interests. I am very glad to find a Master’s course of Management programme in your esteemed
university, apt for my academic requirements which help me excel in the career path that I have
chosen. During the graduate programme, I would seek knowledge in all possible ways that I
could apply in future endeavours. The programme intends to provide sound knowledge and

The practical experience of working in a start-up business as well as possessing work

experience with a global organisation gave me the exposure that defined my career goals. After a

allow me to enter the corporate world of my choice.
